WELCOME TO CUB SCOUT PACK 174 (ROCKS)!

We are based in Round Rock, Texas and are members of the Chisholm Trail District in the Capitol Area Council. Pack 174 is a Quality Unit that regularly earns Journey to Excellence Gold status.

We have an outstanding program for all boys & girls in Kinder through fifth grades. Most of our members attend Great Oaks Elementary School, but we welcome others in the area who are interested in joining Cub Scouting.

This 4th of July is a big birthday for America and Scouting America has issues a challenge to all scouts! If you complete the challenge you can earn an awesome, patriotic pocket patch.

Flag Retirement Ceremony

As we celebrate Flag Day, Pack 174 will be hosting a flag retirement ceremony at our charter organization, American Legion Post 447.

Saturday June 13th, starting at 10AM. This will count as a summer participation activity too.

Outdoor Adventure for ALL Cub Scouts!! June 28-July 1, 2026 Registration is still open!

Registration for Adventure Camp is open! Orion and I have attended this before and it is an AMAZING experience. If we have enough attend then we can camp as a Pack.
