Hello Pack 174, Thanks for all your hard work during the Show and Sell phase of popcorn sales. We ended up with $6548 in sales along with $1486 in donations. This is a good job by one and all. Take Order starts September 17. Please review the following Take Order Selling and Safety Tips: • NEVER enter anyone’s home. • NEVER sell after dark unless you’re with an adult. • DON’T carry large amounts of cash. • ALWAYS walk on the sidewalk and driveway. • ALWAYS sell with another Scout or with an adult. • ALWAYS wear your uniform • ALWAYS smile and introduce yourself • ALWAYS tell your customers why you are selling popcorn • KNOW the different kinds of popcorn you’re selling • ALWAYS say “Thank You!” no matter if they buy or not. • ALWAYS make a copy of your order form before you turn it in • ALWAYS have a order form with a pen • Checks should be made out to Pack 174. Important dates for Take Order Sales October 17 Take Order Forms and any monies collected are due to your den leader. Please be sure to designate which prize you want and include your Show and Sell, Take Order and Online Sales in that total. Popcorn pickup for the Pack is Nov 11/12.
